In June they nestle in the grass guarding their nests from preying creatures. In winter, they huddle under the cedar trees near the horse barn. They leave calling cards everywhere. I like to think that is why the grass is so green.
I love them, and consider seeing one a sign of good luck to come. I am often proven wrong, but no matter. I love rabbits.
